As Creative Dubuque, I offer the following writing and editing services. It never hurts to have another set of eyes on your writing before you send it out. Editing
Manuscripts | Proofreading. Proofreading of documents for print or online publication. Nonfiction or fiction, short documents or book length manuscripts. Ensure correct grammar, punctuation, consistency, and clarity, while keeping the author’s voice and style. Experience: See a portfolio of some of the published books I’ve worked on for one client, in the pre-publication stages. Since Sept. 2011 I’ve served as events editor for the Dubuque area magazine, Julien’s Journal, and also contribute to 365ink.

Experience: Dozens of successfully completed resumes for local job seekers, including college students, business professionals, and individuals seeking blue collar positions.
College essays | Academic papers. Professional editing of college and academic writing by eliminating sentence-level grammar errors. I assist with revising for clear, effective writing, including APA or MLA-style research papers, and writing by non-native speakers of English. Experience in an academic environment, assisting with college level writing skills and the effective revision of college-level essays.
